For the large veins, I used several splines with different warps to make them look more organic, and then merged them. I then split them to work on the main structure and the details separately

Infected Surface - Substance Designer

I've played a lot of great horror games lately, and it really inspired me. So I decided to work on an infected organic surface material, and take the opportunity to experiment with the spline system in Substance Designer.
